Downgrade directx

I am using the intel i7 2600k processor with the built-in hd3000 video. I tried playing Mass Effect 2 and got an error saying Direct3D could not be accessed because youy computer is locked. I am running directx 11 according to my dxdiag run, run i believe hd3000 does not support this. Is there a way to downgrade to a lower version of directx or fix this issues another way?

You need a discrete graphics card,onboard just won't do it.
Mass Effect 2
Minimum: 256 MB (with Pixel Shader 3.0 support). Supported Chipsets: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 or greater; ATI Radeon X1600 Pro or greater. Please note that NVIDIA GeForce 7300, 8100, 8200, 8300, 8400, and 9300;
ATI Radeon HD3200, and HD4350 are below minimum system requirements.

HD3000 should be ok on MA2 on lowest settings, comparable to ATI HD5450.

Download and install DX9c @ http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=3b170b25-abab-4bc3-ae91-50ceb6d8fa8d

It will only install files that DX10/11 are missing.

Go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ and select Mass Effect 2.
