Broadband on Windows Server 2000

Hi, im using Windows 2000 Server ffor some networking
coursework, and i am trying to install my broadband modem
onto it, but everytime i connect the drivers, once i click
on internet explorer it just comes up with the connection
wizard, which doesnt seem to include broadband. Could
someone please help me?
