9 at work...
and at least 3-4 when i get home (work and gaming)

I have a computer "problem" according to my wife...

~Cheers

Yikes, I misread that taking out "time". Changes the meaning completely.

Quick calc tells me I spent, on average, $7-$8 on computer hardware per day. That's not bad. Just enough for a lunch.

About 8 hours at work, and 3-6 at home. Now I refuse to spend any time on my PC at home, just cannot get around to doing it.

I used to spend a lot of time on the pc, but then I realized how boring it is to just sit there and do nothing (playing games, chatting)

We all know it's fun, and for me it's kind of a habit, but my main reason is that I don't have a job, other wise I would have a good BMX bike to ride, a good skateboard, fix up the go-ped(s), or get a car and pimp it out.

I have lately come to realize that computers are way too overrated, the main reasons for my opinion being there are so many viruses, and another being that they don't do exactly what you want them to all the time, and a third reason would be that people use hacks and cheats in games, and I know this because I used to use an aimbot for halo PC, looking back on it, it's pathetic, but I can confirm that people actually use them.

And the most important reason for everyone: they cause serious injury, such as carpel tunnel syndrome and can hurt your shoulders and such (like mine are now)

Your mother would like for you to come downstairs. She has your juicebox and oatmeal cookie snack ready.

For me its my knee, i spend like 9 hours a day either at a desk or on my bed with a computer, so the whole walking thing doesnt happen all that much. My right knee hurts like hell now whenever i try to run.

My legs hurt quite a bit too but I ride my bike all the time so it kinda balances itself out.

Even with surgery I can't understand a pair of opposable thumbs...I guess you wouldn't need surgery, you just have to find someone willing to oppose your thumbs for some reason and you are good to go.

8O You mean you were serious? Try looking it up...

Reply to VBDude

Still don't get it...

Possible to oppose or resist. <--- That definition. :P

I am an Anthropology major and have studied human evolution in more than one class, one was called "Theory of Human Evolution." Yes I know what an opposable digit is.

I sir, am an educated young man. On the other hand, sarcasm doesn't convey itself well in a forum.

I do spend a lot of time using a computer as I use my laptop to take notes with in class (3-5 hours/day) and then use it for work an homework. Almost all of my work is done solely on a computer as it's very hard to do data processing and programming with a paper and pencil. On a day without much homework, I'll use a computer probably 6, 7 hours and on a day where I'm swamped, I'll probably be on it 12.

That sounds like a bit, but most office workers spend 8+ hours per day using a computer, so it's far, far more of a tool than a toy. I think that it's not necessarily the time you spend on it, but what you spend the time doing. If it's productive...no problem.
