eVGA 256-P2-N553-AX Geforce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 - Graphics Card

SONY 16X DVD±R, 5X DVD-RAM Write DVD Burner - Optical Drive

Antec SUPER LANBOY Silver - Case

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS - Harddrive

Acer AL1916W Black 19" 8ms - Monitor

Antec SmartPower 2.0 SP-500 500W - Power Supply

OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) - RAM

ASUS P5B Socket T (LGA 775) - Mobo

I have narrowed down my selection for my new build to these items however, I would like some feed back on whether any of them jump out at you in issues like capability, product history, or anything else like that. Also I would like some help in shaving some of the cost without diminishing performance. I am planning on buying a E6400 when it is back in stock on zipzoomfly and all of the rest will be from newegg.com. Would be tremendously helpful.

Drop to an E6300 and overclock it if you find you want the extra speed. These chips will OC very easily.

Avoid the Smartpower series of Antec PSU's. The Truepower line seems to be much more reliable. Go for the Turepower 480W PSU. The rest of it looks fine. Have fun with the new rig.
