MSI NX7600GT OverClocking...

Hi , My brother recently bought a MSI NX7600GT ( GeForce 7600GT ) with msi 2slot cooling system . :twisted: Here
The Stock clocks is 540/1400 . can any 7600GT owners tell me how much can we OverClock this card without making damage on card ?...
i need your helps (like always), i will be very thank full for any help !

OK We OC The Card To 600/1500MHz , But There is ONE BIG Problem :
We Got only 5900 Scores in 3DMark 2005 , but according to THG & some other sites a standard GeForce 7600GT (560/1400) Must Get 6010 in 3DMark 2005 !
Here is the system spec :
ASUS P5ND2-SLI Deluxe
P4 630 (2Mb Cache, 3GHz )+Cooler Master Hyper6+ CPU Cooler :twisted:
MSI NX7600GT ( OC to 600/1500)
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy
2x512Mb KingStone DDR 533
240Gb Maxtor S-ATA 150
400 Watt AOpen Active PFC PSU
& a fresh windows XP SP2 with lastest drivers (ForceWare 84.21)
Can any one tell us why the 3DMark 2005 Scores is that low for that much overclocked 7600GT ?? Please ... Help !! We Really need some helps ...

My friends has a 7600gt at 580/1500 with a 3700+ and gets about 6200 so with his P4 630 a 5900 sounds about right.

I ran 3DMark 2005 for the first time ever today after seeing this post. I have a 3500+ 2.2 Ghz and a eVGA 7600 GT KO, stock at 580/1500. It scored 6263.

Do You Really Think The Pentium 4 630 With 2Mb Cache is That Weak ????
We Tested the Card at 600/1550MHz , But We Get only 5950 Point in 3DMark2005 ...
Maybe I Should Check His Card on My System :twisted:

Those things like 3dmark are synthetic benchmarks, try it out on real games and enjoy it. I have no idea why people would be sad if they could play games real nice.

Oh yeah, for gaming, it kinda sucks (I'm sorry, but that's the truth).
Go check the THG CPU Interactive Charts if you don't believe it. Even my 3200+ at stock speeds beats it. 8)

And basically, 3dmark is built to test the gaming performance of any PC. (You got me with that bench! )
Anyway, that bench proves you that 3dmark performance doesn't say it all. And, you shouldn't worry so much about being 200 or 300 points below the "average" score. You won't notice it in games. 8)
