Artic Silver Ceramique is a high quality thermal compound. Better than other compound for it transfers heat/cold more effeciently and works great at extreme low termperature like phase cooling. I personally use the AS5 for everything on my pc from cpu, gpu and chipsets and I got better results compare to the stock thermal grease.

It claims to lower load temperatures 2-10 degrees C over normal (ie. generic) thermal greases. One nice aspect is that it contains no metal particles and therefore isn't conductive or capacitive of electricity (ie isn't going to short out any traces on the CPU).

Arctic Silver 5 performs slightly better. 3-12 degrees better under load compared to normal greases. It isn't electrically conductive but does have slight capacitive qualities if it comes in contact with metal leads. It also has a longer burn in time Ceramique.
