Western Digital 250GB HDD x2 - $160.00

ASUS P5W Deluxe mobo - $275.00

Corsair XMS2 RAM 2GB - $181.00

Antec TruepowerII 550W power supply - $80.00

I decided to go with this case:

The Antec SONATA II. I had a question though, will the 450w power supply be ample for my system or should I still get the 550w power supply? And also this is my first time building so what other little things do I need? I have down on my list of things to get:
Thermal Paste -
Cable Cover -
Anti-static wristband -
Mouse -

I need a NIC and do I need a CPU fan? If I do what is a good one, and the same with the NIC. What is a good one. Is there anything else I need? I have a monitor and I can't think of anything else. Should I put more fans in the case?

You won't need a NIC, its on the motherboard.

yeah you could use a more powerful video card and then maybe buy a new heatsink and OC a 6400

Swap the board for the Asus P5B

Swap the ram for some OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2-800

And whatever you do..... DON'T BUY from Tiger Direct.

Everything else looks good... enjoy the new rig.

Have you had problems in the past with Tiger Direct? I have made roughly 20 orders through them and have had zero problems. Support was easy to work with the one time I accidently ordered two of the same item, they quickly cancelled it and my items shipped out later the same day. Let me know if you have had problems, I always like to know why I would heed a warning before I acknowledge one.

Thanks for the responses guys. Should I buy the 550w power supply or stick with the 450w power supply that is in the case.
