Win 7 mouse problem

my win 7 pc will not move the mouse away from the left side of the screen. it will only let me go up or down and when i do that it moves inversely! It usually works again when I reboot but now that doesn't work! Please help as i can't load windows support.

Unistall the mouse drivers in device manager.
Restart your pc and Win7 will reload the drivers.
Otherwise clean your mouse there could be debris in the optical/laser eye.

Turned on pc
hey presto!!! it works from start up!
I think you are right about the drivers being dodgy so will do what u said.
