I have heard that the few available "clone" pickup rollers don't last long.

Several years ago, HP/Canon original parts were discontinued.
Generally, "clone" parts are the only NEW parts available.

Several years ago, the owner of http://wwww.fixyourownprinter.com/
remarked in one of the repair forums that he had managed to buy up the
available supply of genuine HP/Canon pickup rollers.

If you buy from them, you may still be able to get a genuine HP/Canon part.
