More Information

Hi,

I was in the mood for a blast from the past, so i just found and downloaded Major Stryker (http://www.3drealms.com/stryker/index.html) and surprisingly, it just worked on Windows XP, no compatability mode necessary.

However, I don't get any sound or music through the main speakers. I've tried using both the Audigy 2 Player (in digital and analog) and the onboard sound (not sure what - on a SiS chipset of celeron 2GHz vintage) with no luck, though you can get sound (but no music) if you play it though the pc speaker.

On the website, it says that the Sound is supposed to be Sound Blaster compatible, and the music Adlib. In the command line window that appears as the game starts, it says that both Adlib and Sound Blaster are found.

Can anyone give me any pointers as to how I might get this working?

Thanks

Sandy Scott
