Cant get FSB above 248

Need some help, I cant get my front side bus above 248, if I do 250 or more it doesn't post and I have to hold the power button and it resets the CMOS, saying some thing about the CPU.

AMD 3500 Winchester
ECS Kn1 sli Extreme
2GB(value ram) on a divider 166mhz

tried adding Vcore, lowering HTT to x3, changed ram to 100mhz, just won't boot, any ideas?

Seems to be a common problem with this mobo,

But I have it running nicely @

FSB: 238
Multi: x11
HTT x4
memory 187 2.5-3-2-6 (stock 3-3-3-8)
Vcore: 1.525(1.4 stock)

For 2.618 runing @50c load, what do you think? I only installed my HS on Monday, does it take a while for AS5 to settle? Will my Temps drop anymore and allow me to raise the Vcore a little more?
