I am working on flashing my M2N-E BIOS (before I install Windows or anything). NO hard drive is in the case, yet.

I'm having problems finding a boot disk to boot off the floppy.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have the AWDFLASH.EXE program and the .bin file.
Should I be using AWDFLASH.EXE or something else?

Just having problems getting it to boot to a boot disk.

Suggestions?

Ok...I need some help here.

I'm trying to flash my BIOS, but I'm running into trouble.

So far, I only have the CPU, heatsink, and floppy plugged in.

I keep getting errors when I boot off the floppy:

CANNOT BOAT OFF DISK, PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK

Or something very similar to this.

I did find a bootdisk utility creator.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Help!

Do you have to flash the BIOS before you complete the system build and get to the Windows desktop? You can flash the BIOS from windows in an instant. If you must update the BIOS before you build yur system and load windows, I suggest you get out your manual and read EZ FLASH. HTH.

I was preferring to flash before I put the OS since the new BIOS has the latest and greatest.

I was able to figure the problem out

Get this: bad floppy drive.
