that power supply with the case should work out fine for the system you are building. it should be good for now,if you upgrade later to better video card it may require a power supply with more wattage, but i'd worry about that when/if you ever do upgrade

This will be more than enough for the current system, but in case you ever put a beefier video card in there, go for the Antec Truepower 550W

I have an XFX 7900GT XXX edition (Oc'd to 550mhz factory) and an Antec 430watt PSU, and have never had power issues. My system is essentially a 939 equivalent of the build here.

That's why I said it would be more than enough for his system. I recommended it in case he decided to add other parts, like a beefier video card, or in case he wanted to overclock his CPU.... etc.

Right now the 550W version is on for 79.99 at Newegg, the same price as the 480W version, and only $10 more than the 430W.

That's why I said that my Computer is what you're saying. It's a 3800+ OC'd to 2300mhz, and the video card is a 7900GT OC'd (factory) to 550mhz

I also had 1 IDE drive, and 3 sata drives in there. No problems. Oh, and plust about 4 case fans for airflow.

the 450watt is more than enough for that system and any upgrades in the future.

All looks pretty good, only complaint I have is the great prices everyone gets in other coutries. Aussie prices much higher. Looking at your price list, out prices are at least 50% higher in some cases 8O
