I need help with getting a mobo for E6300, I dont wanna spend much on the mobo, I have a 7600GT so integrated graphics will be no good, also Overclocking features is a MUST. Help me out here.
I've seen a bundle deal on Tigerdirect, a 6300 + an nForce570 Sli-chipset Asus board for $340. Should be a good overclocker, however, it's new, so I'm still waiting for reviews before I order one myself.
The new Nforce is the old north bridge with a new south bridges. 300 MHz FSB may be all it will do. Still I've not seen one yet. Latter this yaer a new north bridge will come out and maybe things will change.
Seems that the gigabyte mobo is a good choice, if u can brief me on what overclocking features it offers, I'll have to look around if i can find that motherboard...

If you already owned a 945p/g/z based mobo, there is no need to buy a new one, the manufacturers are in progress to create a BIOS revision (with VRM7 replacing VRM6). So if you can wait, it's definitely worth it.
The new Nvidia 590 mobos are due out soon, I would wait for those. If you cant wait I suggest the DS3 or the Abit AB9. Bother overclock very well. I believe the abit runs cooler and clocks higher, but the layout is somewhat wacky.
I dont have an intel config right now, basically i have an ASUS A8N-E, with an AMD 3200+ on it @ 2.8Ghz, so i wanted to make sure my processor upgrade was actually an upgrade, coz i am practically running an FX-55 right now.
I dont think i will have a lot of options here, how is ASUS P5B, is it good at overclocking, any MSI options, coz it's easier to find ASUS and MSI here in india
