Wait for the e6600 or just get the e6400?

I just ordered all the parts for my new computer and everything is shipped except for the e6600. I ordered it from tigerdirect 2 days ago. Should I wait it out and see when they will ship out or should I just go ahead and buy a e6400? Thanks.

Well, to be fair, the E6600 doesn't blow the doors off the FX-62, it merely beats it in nearly every benchmark buy a slim, but respectable margin.

Now the X6800 indeed blows the doors off of any AMD product.

Man, if you ordered it then wait because you might as well cancel with TD and buy your self a x6800 from the store this coming monday. I know you're paying mark up on either or, why tourture your self when you can get the next best thing. You can look up an extreme part, or wait whenever that is you think you're waiting till?

Hah, Cancel with TD!!! 9/8/06 - they wouldn't see the light of day let alone a credit card from me.

Join the crowd, I sent my mobo,ram,case,vid card, next day air for $150 from NewEgg because TD said my e6600 would ship same day I ordered (7/27). Of course everything came next day except the e6600... I cancelled my e6600 TD order and am waiting for Newegg to get them in.
