Hi, I just purchased a Gigabyte GV-3D1-7950-RH. The only problem is when connecting the monitor to the card I got no display. Being stupid I disabled the onboard through the device manager in Windows, thinking that it was maybe interfering with the nvidia card from working. So I can't even use the computer now. I don't care about the onboared card at all working, I just really want my gfx card to work. Does anyone know what could be the problem. It looks like it's in the PCIE slot perfectly, with 2 power cables going into it, and I can't think of anything else to try. Help is greatly appreciated!

Need more information on your system, please post your specs. As far as resetting the onboard video, just reset the bios. The book supplied with your system should have instructions on how to reset "short" the bios pins.

AMD 3800 FX, 1gig of ram, 580 watt power supply, and it has an hp mobo, maybe it isn't compatible with the mobo?

most likely needs a bios update, i doubt that that mobo supports that gfx card, it isn't supported by quite a few

That's what I was thinking and I was hoping to get around that, but sadly no.
