I'm looking to upgrade my entire system, and the 7600 GT is the card I have my sites on. However, I don't quite want to upgrade my monitor since it's central to my home setup.

I use a splitter to connect to both my Xbox, PS2, and Computer - it also works as a TV, with a PIP screen I can use while in PC input.

So, my question is, is this card capable of connecting through analog? Or do I have to buy an adaptor?

I have the 7600GT working with a analog monitor. The card comes with 2 DVI to 15 pin analog adapters. You should have no problem.

2 x adapters for 2 x analog (10 year old 21" and 17" ) crts. works fine. Love the extra "virtual" destkop space as my "real" desktop is rather limited. i wonder why...

All video cards currently ship with DVI to D-Sub converters. If you hold on to this converter then you can use it with your next graphics card/PC upgrade when they might not include them in bundles as CRT monitors are disappearing pretty fast.

Please don't think I'm insulting you by saying that the World is switching to LCDs. CRTs have excellent pictures when it comes to watching movies and also are more responsive - perfect for gaming. As long as you're happy with your monitor don't feel that you have to switch to an LCD just to 'keep up'.

All the best,
