Hey, I'm a senior in college and I just submitted an employment application to Fry's. Can any former or current employees give me advice on working for the company? Specifically what it's like to work there, what are the best jobs, and how the interview process works (and how to prepare). I love Fry's huge selection and daily sales with great prices, and I think I would really enjoy working there.

Not if you're an electrician or similar

It's interesting how everyone on the Community forum just goes on their little way about something else, besides the OP's topic.

Are you kidding? Most residental one's are. If you do that kind of stuff
baked, you do a nice, slow, complete job. You just keep forgetting where
the hell you left the wire cutters.

I stand by my original comment.

Amps + human + ground = unpleasant demise; e.g. fried.

Dear me, I'm afraid I stumbled upon the juvenile section of this otherwise top-notch forum.

it might have helped if your initial post didn't sound like a paid advertisement for fry's.

seriously, could you shove your tongue any further up their ass. why not look for an independant comp store and get a job there. a good chance it is run by people who know what they are talking about and actually like comps.

true, we don't have fry's over here but we got pcworld and from what i have heard they are one and the same.

Dear me, you fail to read the stickies, which I may say is the height of forum etiquette and you have the nerve to call us juvenile? Not to mention that there is a section dealing in matters pertaining to Computer shops? I say sir!

Please, do shut the fuck up, read the stickies, and, if you possibly have the mental capacity to understand a basic warning, get your ass out of here.
