this is a windows 98SE platform.
recently i upgraded to WMP serie 9. i discovered that WMP
S9 is conflicting with another program. i need to remove
it totally and get back to the default media player that
was shipped with the operating system (Win98SE).
how do i do that? Appreciate your help.

Try microsoft.public.win98.apps

Have you looked in Control Panel/Add&remove// ???
Have you looked in the 98 directory for the uninstall folder....Its been awhile
since 98 cant remember what its called.
