hi im having a problem i have set up my laptop to my 42 inch lcd tv with vga cable i can get a picture no problem with the hot keys but my picture on my lcd has wavy lines running through it constantly they are more noticable when the picture is darker than when it is light but when it is light where the lines are the picture is slightly blurred any help with this would be most appreciated thanks kevin

I know what you are talking about, as I have hooked my laptop up to my Dell W3201C and I noticed the same thing, I am thinking that maybe the problem lies with the VGA cable not being able to correctly sync the refresh properly. I have an Acer 3620, and it don't have DVI out, I wish it did, because I'm pretty sure that may eliminate the problem...hope that helps.

hey thanks for the reply so fast well i thought it could be the vga cable at the start, so do u reckon its just a case of always having lines no matter how many cables i get or will a really good make of one maybe sort the problem out for me thanks again in advance
