Event Viewer - Security Logging

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.advanced_server (More info?)

The security logging is not working on one of my terminal
servers. I looked at the properties, filter tab, and
everything is checked for logging... Is there some
service that is not running on the server, or another
setting that I am missing somewhere?

Hi

You may want to verify the following:

Go to "Start", "Run", type secpol.msc.

Select "Local Policies", then "Audit Policy".

Verify that events you wish to see are not set to "No auditing".
