Great Benchmark!
You don't want to test your computer with a chess program?
You can go to the Categorie CPU with Topic "Invite you all for a computer test!" there you get all information how to do.
I want to see your computer on the first place!

Regards,JP

I used my USB pen drive (aka flash drive  ) and loaded windows with my Pentium D 805 then flashed after copying the file from my flash drive to the HD (other PC had the internet at the time)

JPQY, your chess program is so complicated... lol... I'll try it one of these days, once I get enough enthusiasm to read through all those instructions...

Nice benchmarks... how about Oblivion =) With full details? :D

Any one esle got a Core 2 Duo? Please input some benchmarks. Maybe AMD can set one up similar to this so we can compare?

but seriously if you have any of the Core 2 Duo Series bench your games and if I have that game I will re bench mine to the same settingsto make easier comparison.

Well, that system's a beauty.

I'm just curious as to why you're running your memory at DDR2 800 with 5-5-5 timings? You have DDR2 1067 memory so you'd see slightly better performance running at that speed. By Corsair specs your RAM at DDR2 1067 with 5-5-5 timings, but if you are adventerous you can should be able to get it down to 4-4-4 timings at DDR2 1067. You'll need 2.2V or maybe a bump to 2.25V to get it stable though.

DDR is @ 1067MHz and 5-5-5-18-5 timings. 18 is high but its no preformance hit. Intels handle it different to AMDs, its the hertz that count.

Nice system, and benchies. :) I just want to ask...honestly, is the system performing as you'd hoped/expected? I know that everyone has high expectations for the new C2D's, but are you happy with it, i know i would be.

it is as powerful as I expected, but oblivion isnt as good graphics as I expected :( . EVEN ON MAX! Half life 2 is better with 1920x1200 6x AA and 16xAF, and it gets huge frames :D

what a pain in the ass
Yup, but its worth it, as you can see with the benchies. They need to get that sorted out before they appeal to mass market, then again they buy them pre made with intel graphics.. so

Has anyone else got ANY benchmarks for their Core 2 Duo?!?!

Plus is there any game you would like me to bench?

I dont have doom 3 but if you want to see the benches then I will buy it, its a good game anyway

How bad is the noise level from your rig? I'd guess that your xFire x1900 would cause quite a bit of noise.

What are your opinions on the case? I know it's big, heavy & sturdy as hell, but sound wise?

hey, posted my benchies in my "the build" thread. My 3dMark06 score was 6212, not close to yours, but of course i'm running one 7900GTX. But i beat you out slightly in CPU power :)... slighltly.... by a hair...

How does your comp at stock speeds beat mine at everything by a hair in CPU intensive things eg pi mod you got less than me? 8O

Could it be the extra 2GB ram? and the fact you are using 64bit?
