My event viewer keeps on telling me:

The Realtek RTL8139 based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter NT Driver service failed
to start due to the following error:

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it
has no enabled devices associated with it.

I reinstalled the drivers, but the message keeps on coming. Where does this
service originate?

Does this hardware exist ? If so then you have 2 options.

1. If you keep loading drivers and still receive the error msg. Then you
should check for an updated driver for this card.

2. This card may be disabled in the bios if it's an onboard network card.
Check your bios settings. If you try to load a driver for a device that is
disabled this can occur.

Thanks for this suggestion. I didn't completely figure out what's happening,
but it seems to be something with the driver.
