Hey, when I connect to my 4mbps adsl line at home with traditional cable I get the right speeds against the internet. But when I connect with my SMC 54mbps pci to my SMC 54mbps accesspoint all I i get against the internet is 2mbps and not 4mbps. Why is this? :)

Ps. The router and firewall function in the accesspoint is disabled.

Check the connection speed of the wireless products. Are you posssibly picking up interference that is knocking the wireless connection down in speed? odd thou, because even if it is dropping back to 802.11b, you still should have an 11MB connection.

Set your connection speeds to "Auto" on both if they aren't already.
Good Luck.
