I like a custom colour, yellow for me, but not to bright otherwise it is difficult to see.
I don't like custom titles, because the post count titles are nice and everybody can see that you are a frequent poster with a high post count.

I would choose a different color...that way I could accepted to the university of my choice based upon the principle of "diversity" rather than how smart I am.
