Greetings all!

On one of my Windows 2000 servers, all my scheduled have stpped.
I looked on the tasks listed under scheduled tasks, but everything
was "frozen" when I tried to browse the properties, and an error
message poped up and told me that the service was stopped.

When I looked at my local service listings (I was hoping that a
start or restart of the servce would solve the problem), the "Task
Scheduler" task was missing from the list.

Does anyone have an idea what might have caused this, or how to
solve the problem?

Pointing in the right direction, will be highly appreciated.
