I installed sp2 and it has created lots of problems for
me. I managed to unstall it but it has left lots of
errors like traces of windows firewall remain because of
it I am unable to install anything. Windows Installer is
not working. When I click to install from my downloads I
get a new window
Open File - Security Warning
Do you want to run this file ?
when I click Run
I get
Preparing to Install
it stays for few seconds and disappears nothing happens
the I get the final Message:
The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This
can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if
the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact
your support personnel for assistance.
