Windows 2000 Adv.

I have 2 w2k servers and i need to keep a folder on both machines exactly
the same. These two servers are not part of a domain however they both
belong to the same workgroup.

My question is can i use w2k's built-in replication service to replicate the
two folders? My understanding is replication needs AD... is this true? If
so does anyone have an idea on what app to use?? My budget is small.

basically all i need is the folder on the source server to be mirrored on
the destination server in real-time or on a scheduled basis.

thanks in advance.

Hi, first try to use DFS! but i not sure ,that support workgroup computers.
and simply, write script or just .bat file to copy original files to mirror
and put it as scheduled task!
