We replace a stick of memory in our server we believed to be bad with brand
new 128 MB of memory. When we reboot the machine we get something I believe
to be the following error or similar:

0x00000080 NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE

When remove the new memory and replace it with old and boot up. Same error
now with a stick that was previously working. I removed all memory from the
slot and rebooted and it worked fine. Tok about 15 minutes to boot past the
Advanced Server logo page. I think that the slot on the system board to be
bad. Any thoughts on what this erro rmeans and the possibility of having a
bad memory slot.
