I have a Windows 2003 advanced server at home behind a linksys router on a
DHCP assigned IP address from the ISP. This DHCP IP is the same for the lsat
one year, so it is not the problem.
I am using this server as internet and intranet DNS server, created forward
lookup zones for 3 different domains what I host for myself. Also, I use this
machine as my Exchange 2003 server for my hosted domains.
Sometimes my DNS server stop working, therefore my website is not accessible
and I cant get emails. Sometimes I either reboot my server or just restart
the dns service and suddenly the email starts flowing in.
I don't know what to troubleshoot any more. I uninstalled and reinstall the
dns server, rebuilt my dns zones, rebooted and reconfigured my router, no
dice.
Any ideas please?
