heard some peoople saying everythign was pushed back to the 16th now so just wondering if it is true or if anyone knows when newegg will get them up for sale.

I contacted the Newegg Customer Service Rep (he posts here sometimes) - they don't have a "firm" date, but are gussing mid-august. Sounds close.

I just reserved E6600 on outpost.com. Says ships 8/14 and overnight was like $~6.00. You can also reserve the Extreme but the price is a bit more than some other etailers. The other cores arn't too badly priced, so was good enough to pull the trigger for me and know I'll have my system in a week. This will be my first personal Intel build in like 6 years. Sorry AMD, you've been real good to me and I will still be keeping the system in my specs so don't feel too bad.
