I want to buy a SATA burner, obviously it's going to be a plextor. I'm trying to decide between the 716SA or the 755SA.
Plextor used to make all their drives with an 8MB buffer, which is why I liked them so much, but now their newer model (the 755SA) is a 2MB buffer but all their drives in the past used to be a whopping 8MB buffer (why i liked them so much).
Does anyone know why, their newer drives are reduced to a 2MB buffer? I love plextor, ever since back in the day they used to make SCSI drives but I just don't understand why it has this garbage 2MB buffer in their high end drives.
