Intel Desktop Utilities for 975XBX failing

Anyone know anything about Intel's desktop utilities for the D975XBXLRK?
I installed it and it worked fine, but found it gave an error on the CPU voltage. Now it doesn't work at all. Gives a "service program is not active" error. Any help?

Is there a better utility? I'm looking for temp, fan status, and voltage status. As I start to overclock, I want to keep this under review.

from what i hear, the program has issues with the conroe chip, works great with Pentium D

and the most current bios. I read the release notes and some of the areas fixed have to do with the desktop utilities
