When taking a look at your graphics card, I went surfing on the shop websites here on my home turf, and here, you can get a GeForce 6800 card for 15% more. Difference: your Leadtek WinFast GeForce PX6600 GT TDH:
[*:a444b3ba5d]128-bit memory interface[*:a444b3ba5d]128MB RAM [*:a444b3ba5d]8 pixel pipeline
MSI NX6800-TD256E:
[*:a444b3ba5d]256-bit memory interface[*:a444b3ba5d]256MB RAM (don't know if it is faster. 128MB should be enough, though)[*:a444b3ba5d]12 pixel pipeline
In
this thread there is a message that explains briefly, but well, the importance of the various features of graphics cards.
Here's an old review illustrating the performance of the GeForce 6800. It does not contain a comparison to the GeForce 6600, but
this one does.
If you are planning on running everything in a high-resolution, you may want to consider the GeForce 6800, as it scales better for higher resolutions than the GeForce 6600 GT. However, if you are planning on running everything in the area of 1024x768 or 1280x1024, then you should do fine with the graphics card you are planning on getting.
That RAM you specified (the OCZ Gold Rev3 512 X2 ) --- are they PC3200? Since your motherboard and CPU both support PC3200 RAM, I suggest you invest in such RAMs. And are they DDR2 RAMs? Because acording to the motherboard's specification, it only supports DDR SDRAM, not DDR2.
Now I'll hit the sack. Cheers, and good luck.
