What I am Upgrading from

AMD Sempron 3100+ 800FSB No overclock.
eVGA e-Geforce 6800GS 256mb APG 4x/8x.
Some No Name Mobo put in my Comp by Emachines.
768mb of RAM, 1 stick of No Name RAM put in my Comp by Emachines, 1 stick of SuperTalent 512mb RAM

What I am upgrading to:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+, Toledo, 2000MHz HT, 2 x 1MB L2 Cache, Socket 939
ASRock, 939Dual-SATA2, Socket 939, ULi M1695, ATX
Still looking at cases. Thinking bout these 2.

XION, Solaris XON-403, Black with Green LED, Steel, ATX Mid Tower

Or

Rosewill, R5601-BSL, 0.8mm SECC, Screw-less, Dual 120mm Fans, ATX Mid Tower

Suggestions for changing are open.

PS: I am buying another stick of ram locally, so no need to tell me I need more ram, cause I know :)

I dont have 1 GRAND to spend.
2. All Intels I have owned have sucked ***.

You haven't been paying attention. Benchies don't lie.
Conroe is really awesome. Heat is way down and the performance will just give you a woody. :wink:
E6600 is the Sweet spot.
