Backup/migration tools

Hi,

any good tools that do the following:
- backup files which preserve ownerships/permissions/attributes
- save registry settings
- migrate configuration
- reset a misplaced admin password

Backing up, depends on personal preference. Main ones I prefer are

BackupExec
ArcServe
NTBackup (is free)

For resetting passwords, ERD Commander is good. You can get the free
ones that boot Linux, and reset passwords, but sometimes can be a bit
buggy and can cause system failures.

For backup files with Acls permissions/attributes : IDEM tool. I found
it at
http://peccatte.karefil.com/software/Idem/idemhelpeng.htm
advantage : manage also Macintosh files served by Windows volumes and
configure to copy/backup from one location to several.
