  1. The $420 card is a Geforce 7950GX2, which is essentially two 7900GT boards put together using a single PCIe slot. For an indication of performance, check out THG's review of the 7950GX2, which has benchmarks comparing it to the Radeon X1900XTX and Geforce 7900GTX, which is essentially an overclocked 7900GT.
  2. haha im stpud i linked the wrong card lol here it is ill change the first one as well

The 7950GX2 is faster because it's has two PCBs (two graphics boards), two 7900GT GPUs, and two sets of memory. It's basically two 7900GTs but it only needs a single PCIe slot.
  4. Thats a 7900GTX...not a GX2

Depends on the resolution you want to play at for those two cards.
  5. i just dont know if its worth a 150 dollar increase in price for a 5 fps increase..

    what do you think
  6. Its more than 5fps....thats certain, but like I said, depends on the resolution you choose to run at.
  7. you say more then 5 fps, at lets say 1280x1024 how much of a performce increase could i expect
  8. Nothing worth buying the 7900GTX over at that res.
