I have used the Thermaltake Big Tyhpoon and it is pretty good. There's a VX version soon that allows easier installation without the need to remove the motherboard.

Beside the Scythe Ninja being at the top, all the other 120mm ones are aound the same e.g. TT Big Tyhpoon, Thermalright SI-120, Tuniq 120 and Zalman 7700CuAl

Anyone mentions CNPS9500 will get pwned.

We know you don't like the CNPS9500 because it's expensive and over rated. :)

i took a look at the Scythe Ninja and i want to know how it attaches... beacuse its got to be really heavy, wouldnt it break the mobo? and do u have to lay ur pc horrizontally or something so that the bloody cpu cooler doesnt fall off? (my questions were serious, i honestly dont know..)

*and i was reading about the Scythe Ninja, and the guy only got his idle temp down 5 bloody degrees... i might as well just get a water cooled system.. so can someone suggest a water system that is top quality but below $300 though i would like to keep the price as low as possible...

No it won't break it.

See for yourself.

The installation is a bit tricky but it is worth it. It's one of the best HSF you can buy.

As for your liquid cooling option, you can get a Swiftech kit. It's a high quality water cooling system and great performance most importantly.

It's about around $250 for this cpu kit.

The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 pro is meant to be excellent, and is loads cheaper than all the other heat sinks that come anywhere near performing as well.

i mean like a whole system where everything comes in a package...

*btw could this case fit most water cooling systems?
