Brand new build, need help

Just got in my CPU today and had all the other stuff already. Having a problem though. When I put everything together and switched it on, the monitor is not receiving a signal.

The system IS running, the fans and LEDs are coming on. The LED lights next to the power cable on the vid card are also lit up, so I know the vid card is receiving power, however it is not sending any signal to my monitor.

I tried 2 different monitors. I pulled out the vid card and reseated it. Nothing so far. Any suggestions?

I tried both DVI outputs, I also tried pulling out the DVD and Floppy to see if it was those. No change.

sigh nevermind

apparently the board isn't compatible with the core2duo chip in this version of the bios. I either have to put a different older processor in (as if I have several laying around) or wait on a bios chip from them.


sigh.....
