Howdy

Well I just recently moved my Rig into a new case (gateway to Armor). I unplugged everything and transfered it. While doing so I put all the cables and connections back exactly the way they were except for a few items. those items were the universal card reader with a usb and the two fire wire ports. But when I tried to boot back up it got stuck on the bios screen saying it could not identify where my optical drives were. I pressed escape and windows booted. But now the optical drives do not show up and I cannot use them. And boot is still slow like its looking for them (stuck on gateway bios logo for about 3-4 min).
HELP!!

Check to see if your drives are set properly. There is usually a jumper that forces a drive to become a master/slave or cable select. You may have mixed up the order of the drives.

EDIT: Make sure all connections are tight (molex connectors, IDE cables, etc.) Also check the BIOS and see if you can manually detect the drives.
