Which one do you think is best for it's money? I'm buying a new computer, so it would be nice to see what you think.

At stock speed the E6300 will be at least as fast as the X2 4200+ or the X2 4600+.

If you can overclock it at least to 2.4GHz from 1.83GHz (not too hard based on what I've read) then it can beat AMD's fastest CPU, the FX-62 running at stock speed.

I am fond of AMD myself and I love the 3800+.
But in all honesty, they Core 2 Duo is more powerful, It will also ofer upgrade options for the furure. I go with that, espically if it is a new build. What do you currently have/what re you buying?
