I have over 500 Tasks on my HP4355 and it works just fine. I've had
that many or more on other Pocket PC's with less horsepower and they
still worked fine.
I use Pocket Informant to access the Tasks because it provides a lot of
the sorting/grouping features you typically only see in the desktop
version of Outlook...and with that many tasks, good
sorting/grouping/filtering is essential.
But back to your question, have you altered the default Settings for
ActiveSynch (Tools > Options > select "Tasks", then click on the
"Settings" button)? I always use the default settings here and it works
- "Keep an open mind, not a blank one."
