In short : diff. driver version reporting diff. core temp.

I would like to keep it short. I am using Leadtek 7600GT and the bundle driver (84.xx i believe) used to report core temp at 65oC idle. Few days ago i decided to update the driver to the newest official (English) and i did clean out the old driver first. Now the temp reads 44oC idle.

I dont think a mere driver update would bring down the GPU temp by a whopping 20+ oC. So there must be something wrong. Which one is the more reliable reading?

I would say the 44c is more likely it, unless your pc has a bad ventilation.
