Win 7 64bit and Internet explorer

I installed explorer 9 on a Win 7 64bit system. It seemed to work well until I installed the recommended updates, over 70 of them. Now when I start Internet explorer it seems to be coming up but it leaves the main window white with no other information.

Assuming all your updates installed successfully, I would just reinstall IE 9.

I switched over to 9, but switched back to 8 as fast as I could (about 35min. was all the bugs I could handle)
btw, I too have 7 pro 64bit version.

Even IE 8 has given me trouble when trying to use the 64bit version of IE. I just use 32bit IE 8 now.
