Been reading the website and forum for years now but this is my 1st post . Here goes.

Total Price comes to £1650

Anything here that you would add, change, compatibility issues etc? Please let me know.

Looks good. Raptor's are pricy and can be matched with a Raid 0 which is relatively easy with the EZ Raid feature. Graphics are good but you could also downgrade and just hold out for DX10. Consider the 1900XTX as well.

Consider the 1900XTX as well.

The XTX is a power hungry card (uses an extra 30W I believe) which only performs marginally better than the XT. Don't waste your time.....

the XTX isnt worth the extra money, just the same card overclocked, you could do that yourself if you wanted to, but the small boost in performance probably wouldn't be noticed.

Thinking of going with the Scythe Ninja Plus Heatsink as it goes well with the p180 case. ALos thinking of going with a lite-on dvdrw.

Any ideas on Nforce 5 and when it's likely to be released? Is it worth waiting for?

LG-GSA H10N or BENQ 1640/1650/1655. Actually, go here for detailed info on what drive fits your specific needs. Those two above are great at pretty much anything, though.
