Hello,

How to disable the Auto Insert Notifications.
My OS is XP pro Service Pack 2.
I was unable to disabling the feature by following the suggested methods:
1. The Settings nonexistent in the Device Manager.
2. No Options in the My Computer's View menu.

Thanks
s.b.

Open Windows Explorer, select your CD-ROM drive, right click, select
properties, go to the AutoPlay tab, I think all you have to do is remove the
check from "Prompt me each time to choose an action" and you may have to do
it for each file type in the dropdown list.

If that doesn't resolve it, place a check next to "Select an action to
perform," scroll the list to "Take no action" and select it. Again, you
may have to do this for each file type and if "Prompt me..." command is
active, deselect that. Click apply and ok.
