Touch pad

Hi I was uninstalling a bunch of programs from my laptop and I got a little carried away and uninstalled a component from my touchpad. Its not a major one but it took away all the double-tap features and quick zoom. its already been out of the recycling bin and completely erased, is there a place i can go to reinstall the touchpad or better yet a way to restore its double-tap features?
