Microsoft wireless 5000 mouse, no Vista drivers?

I am confused, how could MS not have a driver for there own OS? If any one elce has had this proplem let me know what you did to get around it. InteliPoint 5.5 will not install on vista.

Why do you need the intellipoint software? The mouse should run just fine without.....
