I think I bought the last two (4GB) newegg had last night, because they went out of stock right after my order :)

As for where you can get them: good luck. I tried looking around a bit to help you out, but it seems like everywhere they're out of stock. Monarch computer is citing an "industry shortage", and their ETA is 9/1. I went to almost all of the sites listed on froogle, and they all show it as out. TigerDirect seems to have fully pulled it.

P.S. my credit card company just called me about my order with newegg last night - apparently it was larger than my normal spending pattern, and they wanted to make sure it wasn't fraudulent. lol. (I bought a bit more than the memory...)

Edit: as OCNewb points out, zipzoomfly appears to actually have them in stock... I would grab them ASAP as virtually every other store out there has sold out.

Phew, got mine yesterday morning, and 2-day FedEx for $2. Eat that Newegg. I never had to buy from 3 different suppliers to get my parts...

Video, power supply, HD, cables - New Egg
RAM - ZZF
C2D - TigerDirect.

Hope nothing breaks, RMAing will be fun.

Dou you guys know if the Gigabyte DQ6 supports GSkill RAM?
I wanted to get corsair but they're out of stock everywhere so I was thinking on on getting GSkill. Just want to be sure I have no problems when building.

Thanks

Shouldnt have any trouble withthat mem. If you do just tos in a different ddr2 stick and change the mem voltage and timings to that of the g.skill in the bios and you should be good to go.

That would be a problem since I don't have ddr2 mems lying around. Well I think I just must take my chances or else I will never get my new system running.

Thanks

I feel really lucky that I was able to get all my parts from one store. c2e x6800, the corsair ddr2-800 2gb CAS4 (two of them actually), harddrives, video card... everything.

(Granted, newegg made me bend over for the proc, but it happens...)
