today i was talkiing with a men, about 30 year old, and we were talking about HDDs and then he told me that he is planing to buy Windows Vista and for that he needs a new HDD, but i asked him about the size of his HDD and he said 300 GB, and i said thats fine, you can have both windows in the same HDD, just do a partition. then he told me that " you cannot have two operating system in the same HDD, because is illegal" so my question is. it is that true, that you cannot have two operating system in the same HDD. i am consufed, but i think is not true. becasue in a HDD you can have 4 partitions and have 4 operating systems in each partition. so please help me. i want to know is this is true. "In case", indeed:
I (capitalization) don’t (spelling) know were to write this, but I (capitalization) guess (missing predicate: object of guess) is in this area.
(unecessary word "but" ) My question is this one:
Today (capitalization) I (capitalization) was talking with a man(verb agreement), about 30 years (adjective modifier agreement) old. (run-on sentence) We were talking about hard disk drives (HDD) (it is proper define an abbreviation or acronym before using the acronym). (run on sentence) He told me (unnecessary “that”) he is planning (spelling) to buy Windows Vista and (unnecessary “for that”) he needs a new HDD. (run-on sentence) I asked him (unnecessary “about”) the size of his HDD and he said 300 GB. (run-on sentence) I said, “That’s fine. You can have both windows in the same HDD. Just do a partition.” (punctuation, capitalization, run-on sentence, questionable use of idiom). (unnecessary “then”) He told me, "you cannot have two operating system in the same HDD, because is illegal." (punctuation) So my question is: (punctuation: use of . where : required, redundant phrasing) is it (word arrangement) (unnecessary “that”) true (punctuation unnecessary comma) that you cannot have two operating system in the same HDD? (punctuation: use of . where ? required) I am confused (spelling). (run on sentence) I think is not true, (punctuation: . where , required) because [size=9](spelling), in a HDD, [size=9](punctuation prepositional phrase is parenthetical statement) one (style: use of second person—“you”) can have four (style: proper to use word instead of digits for numbers less than 11) partitions and have four operating systems in each partition. So please help me. I want to know if (word choice “is”) this is true. Thanks. (punctuation)
Pedantic hat is normally served as a side dish with some of Wingy's special hollandaise sauce.
Or, if Wingy is out of hollandaise, and you don't want to wait hours for him to make more (he is "the new 30" now), just give the hat to him, and I'm sure he'll whip up something involving the ever-delicious Irish boiled cabbage.
